Phil’s Story

Phil knows what is needed to overcome obstacles and achieve career goals.

As an athletic young boy from urban Toronto, Canada, Phil chose to pursue one of the most unlikely of sports for an Ontario native – Alpine Tech skiing – a sport dominated by athletes raised in the Rockies.

Phil worked extra hard on and off the hill to prove he could compete with the best, trading high school memories for planes and peaks to make the dream of going to the Olympics a retality.

Phil’s Olympic debut was Sochi 2014 and with major hip surgery and broken bones behind him, he is ready for South Korea’s Winter Olympics in February 2018.

Help Phil pay it forward one thank you at a time.
