Edmonton bus driver helps freezing man

An Edmonton bus driver, Derek Bailey, stopped his bus to help a freezing man slumped over on the bus bench between two shopping bags. Bailey went over to the man who could barely communicate because he was shivering so much. Checking the man’s vital signs, Bailey determined he needed medical help and called the paramedics. Bailey said his actions were “just the Edmonton thing to do.” Because of his kindness and quick thinking the man is recovering in the hospital and is in stable condition.
